Pizza is great and it being one of three bars around, its gonna get a ton of business. Also the beer list is always good.

Good food, convenient location near the airport and Grand Aleutian. The pizza, fresh-made chips, onion rings - all great!

The food is much better then what one would expect from a small isolated island in the Bering sea

Very cool place and the staff was helpful. Love the outdoor bonfire and the staff who are just having fun. I appreciated that there was no up selling just a common view of just having a good time.

Remember it's a bar first then a place to eat. My group goes to eat (non drinkers) so if you plan on eating on a busy night go to the bar and order. Food I've tried have been awesome that's why I go back. First few times I had a server who could care less but haven't seen her in a while.

Spent many port calls drinking here. Great place to grab a drink, or a dozen.

No trip to Dutch Harbor would be complete without a trip to the Rat. Good food, good company, pool table, everyone always seems so friendly. Get a tshirt or a hoody. I smile every time i think of the rat and all the good times i have had there. Check out the wall of the smoke shack even if you dont smoke it is definately worth the entertainment.

I was here early around 5 pm. Service fast food pretty good too. This is a very "local" place. But historically people from Alaska are pleasant , very ethical. But this is the only game in town. If you walk in with the right attutide listen to their conversations much different than continental US. Reminds me of northern Michigan and Washington state. I'm sure when the fishermen come in it is pretty entertaining.

Very disappointed. Vodka soda with about a teaspoon of vodka. I will never go it there again.

I frequent the Rat while in port between trips on fishing boats. It's a great little bar with pool, shuffleboard, corn hole, and a fire pit in the back. Prices are typical for Dutch and the food is not bad for bar food. Amazing sunset and mountain views out back. Fair warning that it can get quite obnoxious when there are lots of boats in town.

Fun place to hang out and grab a bite to eat or a drink. Friendly bartenders and good drinks with a great view.

Very nice spot. Seems like the main local hang out. We were very welcomed there and there is plenty of history and interesting items around. Back deck has a smoke shack and a crab trap fire pit. Will definitely swing back if my travels take me there

Great view. Wifi usually works for a small fee. burgers are the best bet here.
